On the 11th November2011 Alison Larkins acting Commonwealth Ombudsman and Dianne Merryful met with representatives of ITSA senior Management.
Although the Commonwealth Ombudsman had extensive evidence of systemic misconduct a deal was struck that the Commonwealth Ombudsman would protect and cover the misconduct.

On the 11th November 2011 Alison Larkins, Acting Commonwealth Ombudsman and Diane Merryfull Assistant Senior Ombudsman met with representatives of senior management of the Insolvency Trustee Service Australia(ITSA) to discuss extensive evidence of systemic misconduct and breaches of the Bankruptcy Act instigated by Matthew Osbourne Principal Legal Officer.
Alison Larkins had extensive evidence of misconduct by Veronique Ingram Inspector General ITSA Florence Choo Deputy Head NSW and Act, Giulia Inga Head NSW and ACT, Tibor Karolyi Cheryl Cullen Julie Padgett Manager NSW BFI Adam Toma National Manager Enforcement and Regulation , Mark Findlay Manager Bankruptcy Regulations and of course Mathew Osborne Principal Legal Officer who instigated it all.
Instead of exposing this gross systemic misconduct by ITSA as would be ethical and expected by the Commonwealth Ombudsman, Alison Larkins and Diane Merryfull made the decision they would do a deal and protect and cover up this conduct and practice.
This would allow this conduct to continue.
ITSA had given false information regarding this systemic misconduct to the Commonwealth Ombudsman on earlier occasions.
Alison Larkins decision to cover this this activity by senior management raises serious ethical questions. Allan Asher was made to resign because his unethical behavior was exposed. Alison Larkins is carrying on the same unethical legacy.
